Job summary

Trio-Healthcar at Xenia Health and Rehab in Ohio seeks a Maintenance Director to oversee the maintenance department, ensuring a safe, compliant, and well‑maintained facility. You will direct daily operations and collaborate with leadership to maintain high standards of care and safety.

The role includes budgeting, staff training on safety, and coordinating preventative and repair work across electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and carpentry disciplines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years in a supervisory maintenance/plant role.
• Licensed in accordance with applicable standards and codes.
• Experience as Maintenance Director in SNF/LTC preferred.
• Working understanding electrical, HVAC, mechanical and architectural systems.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Directs daily operations of the Maintenance Department.
• Ensure Life Safety Code compliance with regulations.
• Review policies and revise with leadership.
• Prepare operating and staffing budgets for maintenance.
• Train staff on safety policies and procedures.
• Oversee preventive and unplanned maintenance (painting, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, electrical).
• Schedule work hours and assignments.
• Other duties as assigned.
