Job summary

Pavilion Management Company is seeking a Maintenance Director for the Xenia Health and Rehab facility. The role oversees the Maintenance Department, ensuring safe, compliant, and well-maintained facilities in line with federal, state, and local standards.

Salary is negotiable and the position is full-time. Responsibilities include budgeting, staff supervision, safety training, and coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance across electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and carpentry tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum three (3) years’ supervisory experience in a maintenance/plant role.
• Licensed in accordance with applicable standards, codes and labor laws.
• Experience as Maintenance Director in a Skilled Nursing Facility or LTC setting preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical, HVAC, mechanical and architectural systems.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Directs the Maintenance Department and its programs.
• Ensures Life Safety Code compliance with regulations.
• Reviews policies and updates job descriptions and manuals.
• Prepares operating and staffing budgets for maintenance.
• Ensures safety training and policy compliance.
• Oversees preventive and unplanned maintenance including painting, plumbing, HVAC and electrical work.
• Develops preventive maintenance tasks and documentation.
• Schedules department work hours and assignments.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
