Job summary

Reflections Retirement Community in Park Forest, IL is seeking a Full Time Maintenance Supervisor to manage safety programs and ensure a secure, welcoming environment for residents. You will lead the maintenance team, perform preventive maintenance on HVAC and utilities, and oversee repairs and replacements of equipment in a senior living setting.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and experience with HVAC/electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversees safety program and maintains a secure resident home and environment per policy and regulations.
• Maintains preventative maintenance program for all equipment (HVAC, plumbing, electrical).
• Hires, trains, schedules, and leads the maintenance team to deliver excellent services.
• Repairs, replaces, and installs minor equipment, hardware, and controls.
• Maintain water heaters, furnaces, ACs, kitchen equipment and related systems.
• Maintain community plumbing systems.
• Process maintenance requests (scheduled and emergency) promptly.
• Inventory management for chemical supplies and proper storage/use.

Overview

Job Location: Victory Centre of Park Forest - Park Forest, IL 60466. Position Type: Full Time. Salary Range: $50,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year.

Responsibilities

• Oversees Community safety program and maintains a secure resident home and working environment in compliance with policy and regulations
• Sustains a preventative maintenance program to maintain proper functioning of all Community equipment, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems
• Hires, trains, schedules, and leads the maintenance team in providing exceptional services
• Mechanically repair, replace, and/or install minor equipment, hardware, and controls
• Maintain water heaters, furnaces, air conditioners, kitchen equipment and associated equipment
• Maintain community plumbing systems
• Completes all maintenance requests, both scheduled and emergency, quickly and efficiently
• Conducts inventory on chemical supplies and complies with proper storage and usage procedures
• Implements safety protocols and procedures to avert incidents and ensure compliance with OSHA requirements
• Performs exterior maintenance duties as necessary
• Delivers fire and disaster education and performs preparation and drill activities with residents and team members
• Engages with residents in a compassionate and impactful manner, cultivating a warm and supportive environment where the values of love, compassion, and dignity are reflected in every interaction

Qualifications

• Prior senior living experience desired

• Must possess leadership and supervisory ability and the readiness to mentor, motivate, and inspire
