Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license.
• HVAC systems and/or electrical experience required.
• Prior senior living experience desired.
• Exceptional interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Must possess leadership and supervisory ability and the readiness to mentor, motivate, and inspire.

Responsibilities

• Oversees community safety program and maintains a secure resident home and working environment per policy.
• Maintains preventative maintenance program for HVAC, electrical, plumbing and other systems.
• Hires, trains, schedules, and leads the maintenance team to provide exceptional services.
• About 20% of time performing maintenance alongside the team.
• Completes all maintenance requests, scheduled and emergency, quickly and efficiently.
• Conducts inventory on chemical supplies and ensures proper storage and usage.
• Implements safety protocols to prevent incidents and comply with OSHA requirements.
• Performs exterior maintenance duties as needed.
• Delivers fire and disaster education and conducts drills with residents and staff.
• Engages with residents in a compassionate manner reflecting love, compassion and dignity.

Salary Range: $28.00 - $30.00 Hourly

Job Shift: 1st shift

Responsibilities

• Oversees Community safety program and maintains a secure resident home and working environment in compliance with policy and regulations
• Sustains a preventative maintenance program to maintain proper functioning of all Community equipment, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems
• Hires, trains, schedules, and leads the maintenance team in providing exceptional services
• Approximately 20% of hours will be spent performing maintenance responsibilities alongside the team
• Completes all maintenance requests, both scheduled and emergency, quickly and efficiently
• Conducts inventory on chemical supplies and complies with proper storage and usage procedures
• Implements safety protocols and procedures to avert incidents and ensure compliance with OSHA requirements
• Performs exterior maintenance duties as necessary
• Delivers fire and disaster education and performs preparation and drill activities with residents and team members
• Engages with residents in a compassionate and impactful manner, cultivating a warm and supportive environment where the values of love, compassion, and dignity are reflected in every interaction
