Job summary

Evergreen Healthcare Group in Hot Springs, MT is seeking a Maintenance Director to oversee maintenance and safety of the center, including Fire and Safety compliance. The role requires coordinating preventive maintenance, basic repairs, and regulatory adherence.

The ideal candidate will manage fire drills, annual maintenance programs, and inventory control, ensuring a safe, compliant environment for residents and staff.

Qualifications

• General experience in equipment maintenance.
• Able to assess physical plant problems and respond.
• Knowledge of building codes, fire regulations, and emergency plant operations.

Job Summary

Hot Springs Health and Rehabilitation Center is currently seeking aMaintenance Director to be responsible for the maintenance and safety of our center, including Fire and Safety compliance.

Essential Functions:

• Implements and maintains established preventative maintenance programs.
• Performs basic repairs to plumbing, electrical, and equipment.
• Coordinates compliance with local, state, and federal codes and guidelines for safety and other relevant rules and regulations.
• Conducts fire and disaster preparedness drills as required.
• Coordinates annual maintenance programs.
• Maintains inventory control for all general supplies parts and equipment.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

• Required: General experience in equipment maintenance
• Required: Able to assess physical plant problems and respond
• Preferred: Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing, copper, galvanized, and plastic pipe
• Preferred: Basic knowledge of HVAC unit maintenance and repairs.
• Preferred: Working knowledge of building codes, fire regulations, and emergency plant operations.
• Demonstrated skills in construction techniques.
• Knowledge of materials used in building construction and maintenance.
