Job summary

Transdev in Pleasantville, NJ is seeking a Maintenance Data Clerk to accurately record data for safe operation and to support maintenance personnel with parts, tools, and supplies. This role emphasizes data integrity and timely documentation to support asset longevity.

The position requires basic data entry skills, strong communication, and the ability to work in an indoor environment with standard office equipment and DOT compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, memos, and short correspondence; write simple correspondence.
• Proficient in standard computer programs and basic data entry.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with team and supervisor.
• Subject to a DOT physical and drug testing; comply with DOT 49 CFR Part 40.

Responsibilities

• Enter daily data for the Maintenance Department.
• Maintain records of vehicle life history and major component serial numbers.
• Process reports for management and the client.
• Double-entry of work orders and maintenance orders into tracking systems.
• Assist with PMI schedule and maintenance repair orders.
