Job summary

Markent Personnel seeks a Maintenance Supervisor with 2+ years in a supervisory or team-lead role within a corrugate facility that converts paper to boxes. Candidates should bring strong electrical and PLC knowledge, plus expertise in mechanical and pneumatic systems, and be comfortable in a union environment.

The role includes reporting to the Maintenance Manager, guiding KPIs, overseeing inventories and budgeting, and leading training to boost safety and equipment uptime while supporting

Qualifications

• Corrugate industry experience including a facility that leads in the conversion of paper to box.
• Strong electrical and PLC knowledge as well as the mechanical and pneumatic systems.
• Union environment experience or exposure.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Maintenance Manager to help lead department goals and KPIs.
• Oversee department inventories and budgeting to ensure adequate needs are met, and kept within proper thresholds.
• Lead personnel through training and development standards to improve standards such as safety, machinery, and plant downtime.
• Help Maintenance Manager with operational tasks such as scheduling, shift meetings, and goal management.

• In order to be considered, candidates will need experience within the corrugate industry including converting machines (BHS specifically).
• Ideal candidates will have 2+ years in a supervisory and/or Team Lead role with industry experience and be ready to move into a management role within 24 months.
