Job summary

Aspire Talent Solutions is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for a corrugate facility in Florida to lead maintenance operations, achieve KPI targets, and manage department budgets. You will supervise a team, drive safety improvements, and coordinate scheduling with the Maintenance Manager.

Ideal candidates will have corrugate industry experience, strong electrical/PLC knowledge, and experience in a union environment, preparing for a potential move into higher management within 24 months.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Maintenance Manager to help lead department goals and KPIs.
• Oversee department inventories and budgeting to ensure needs are met within thresholds.
• Lead personnel through training and development standards to improve safety, machinery, and downtime.
• Assist Maintenance Manager with scheduling, shift meetings, and goal management.

• In order to be considered, candidates will need experience within the corrugate industry including converting machines (BHS specifically).
• Ideal candidates will have 2+ years in a supervisory and/or Team Lead role with industry experience and be ready to move into a management role within 24 months.

Background qualifications:

• Corrugate industry experience including a facility that leads in the conversion of paper to box
• Strong electrical and PLC knowledge as well as the mechanical and pneumatic systems
• Union environment

Day to Day duties:

• Report to the Maintenance Manager to help lead department goals and KPIs
• Oversee department inventories and budgeting to ensure adequate needs are met, and kept within proper thresholds
• Lead personnel through training and development standards to improve standards such as safety, machinery, and plant downtime
