Job summary

Transdev in Chula Vista, CA is seeking a Maintenance Clerk to provide critical administrative support to the Bus Maintenance Department. You will prepare reports on maintenance activity, track attendance, manage records, and assist with supplier and client data for invoicing.

The role requires basic data skills, MS Office proficiency, and a willingness to learn EAM (Octave) for fleet maintenance tracking.

Qualifications

• Administrative/clerical experience in data entry, collection and reporting.
• Experience in transportation or public transit industry preferred.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software.

Responsibilities

• Provides advanced clerical/administrative support to the Maintenance Department.
• Prepares daily, weekly and monthly reports of maintenance activity.
• Collects and reports data for monthly client invoices.
• Maintains department records and attendance program.
• Enters data into spreadsheets and databases.
• Assists training staff with mechanic training and safety files.
