Job summary

Transdev North America, Inc. in Chula Vista, CA is seeking a Maintenance Clerk to handle clerical and administrative support for the Maintenance Department, including data collection, reporting on bus maintenance, repairs, and fuel consumption.

The role reports to the Maintenance Manager and requires strong MS Office skills, data entry capability, and the ability to learn maintenance software. Union environment with a CB pay scale.

Qualifications

• Administrative/clerical experience in data entry, collection and reporting required.
• Experience in transportation or public transit industry.
• Experience in automotive, truck or bus maintenance function preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reviews department reports and data to ensure compliance with PMI and standards.
• Prepares daily, weekly and monthly maintenance activity reports.
• Collects and reports data for monthly client invoicing and fuel usage.
• Maintains department seniority list and attendance records.
• Monitors tool allowances and ASE bonus program for mechanics.
• Enters data into spreadsheets and database applications.
• Assists Training staff with mechanic training and safety files.
• Provides other clerical and administrative support as required.
