Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance and Janitorial Associate to keep our club clean, safe and welcoming for members and teammates. You’ll gather and return carts, perform routine cleaning, and assist with general repairs.

Qualifications

• Must successfully complete required training and certification processes.
• Prior maintenance or janitorial experience preferred.
• May be less than 18 years of age for parking lot cart functions; must be over 18 to operate equipment and enter age restricted areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt and courteous service to members and teammates.
• Maintain high standards of safety and sanitation across the club.
• Gathers and returns carts/flatbeds from the parking lot to the club entrance.
• Restocks and ensures carts are in working order and clean.
• Performs routine cleaning tasks: mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, trash removal.
• Operates floor scrubber, trash compactor and cardboard baler per safety standards.
