Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a maintenance/ janitorial team member to keep our club clean and safe for members and team members. You will gather and return carts, clean floors, restrooms, and outdoor areas, and operate maintenance equipment. Your role supports a high-standard, welcoming shopping environment.

Regular attendance is essential. Prior maintenance or janitorial experience is preferred, and eligibility rules apply to age-restricted equipment operation.

Qualifications

Must complete required training and certification processes.
Prior maintenance or janitorial experience preferred.
May be under 18 to perform parking lot cart functions; over 18 to operate equipment.
Retail/wholesale experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide prompt and courteous service while maintaining safety and sanitation.
Gathers and returns carts/flatbeds from the parking lot to the club entrance.
Maintain cleanliness of the sales floor, offices, restrooms, and outdoor areas.
Operate maintenance equipment such as floor scrubber and baler.
Restock maintenance/cleaning supplies and organize supply areas.
Perform minor repairs and notify management for major repairs.
