Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a maintenance-focused team member to perform general maintenance and cleaning duties, ensuring safety and sanitation for members and staff. You will gather and return carts, keep club areas clean, and support smooth daily operations.

The role emphasizes fast, reliable service, adherence to club standards, and teamwork to maintain a welcoming environment for members and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Must successfully complete required training and certification processes.
• Prior maintenance or janitorial experience preferred, but not required.
• Prior retail/wholesale experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides members with prompt and courteous service and assistance.
• Maintains the cleanliness of all areas of the club including the sales floor, offices, restrooms and outdoor grounds.
• Gathers and returns carts and flatbeds from the parking lot to the club entrance.
• Ensures carts are well-stocked at the club entrance.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of this job.
