Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Associate to help keep the club safe, clean, and welcoming for members and team members. You will gather carts, perform cleaning, and support adherence to club standards and policies to ensure smooth operation throughout the store.

Qualifications

• Prior maintenance or janitorial experience preferred, but not required.
• Must be over 18 to operate equipment and enter age restricted areas.
• Ability to work in varying indoor/outdoor environments and tolerate cleaning agents.

Responsibilities

• Provides members with prompt and courteous service and assistance.
• Maintains the cleanliness of all club areas including sales floor, restrooms, and outdoor grounds.
• Gathers and returns carts/flatbeds from the parking lot to the club entrance; removes trash and debris.
• Operates maintenance equipment safely and reports major repairs to management.
• Restocks supplies and ensures areas on receiving dock are neat and organized.
