Clarendale West End is recruiting a hospitality-focused Maintenance Associate to join our team. This community is still under construction, and this role will involve preparing the community to welcome our first residents. The first month may include varied schedules and training at different locations. This is an exciting opportunity to be among the first employees and to be part of an amazing team caring for our residents.

Responsibilities:

• Perform general maintenance duties: fixing wall covers, floor covers, furniture, fixtures; light plumbing, minor electrical, and appliance repairs.
• Respond promptly to service requests.
• Perform painting and refurbishing projects as directed.
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance.
• Handle minor building and equipment repairs.
• Prioritize work based on supervisor’s instructions.
• Assist with snow removal during winter.
• Maintain fountains, pumping, and filtration systems.
• Maintain irrigation systems (valves, timers, nozzles).
• Perform routine maintenance on vehicles when assigned.

Qualifications:

• Ability to speak, read, and understand English.
• Good communication skills (oral and written).
• Teamwork and inter-departmental communication skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
