Morgan Properties is hiring an Assistant Service Manager for our Maryland community. This full-time role ensures that the physical aspects meet company standards and laws, while mentoring the team in repairs and maintenance.

You will manage on-call rotations, coordinate preventive and routine maintenance, and inspect properties to prevent issues before they arise. The position includes a comprehensive benefits package and steady on-site work.

Formación

• Active and valid driver’s license and personal vehicle.
• 1-year certificate, 2-4 years of related experience, or equivalent education and experience.
• HVAC/EPA/CFC Certification preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose problems and mentor the team in repairs.
• Provide expert troubleshooting in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, drywall, exterior structure, and appliance repair.
• Establish a 24-hour on-call schedule and be available for emergencies.
• Manage and organize inventory of maintenance materials.
• Set on-call, preventive maintenance, make-ready, and work order schedules.
• Regularly inspect community buildings, including vacant units.
• Complete tasks assigned by the Service Manager.

Now hiring an Assistant Service Manager!

We are seeking an Assistant Service Manager with a "Whatever It Takes" approach to join our team! In this full-time role, you will be responsible for ensuring that the physical aspects of the community meet both company standards and applicable laws.

As the Assistant Service Manager, you will help to:

• Manage, develop, and mentor the team in diagnosing problems and making repairs.
• Provide expert knowledge and troubleshooting in areas such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool maintenance, carpentry, dry walling, exterior structure, and appliance repair.
• Be accountable for establishing and preparing a 24 hour on-call schedule for your team, and you must personally be available, always, in the event of snow, ice or other on-site emergencies.
• Manage and organize inventory of all maintenance materials.
• Establish an on-call schedule, preventive maintenance schedule, make ready schedule and general work order schedule for team.
• Regularly inspect community buildings, including vacant units.
• Complete tasks assigned by the Service Manager.

Compensation & Incentives

• Base Pay: $27.00 - $32.00
• Up to 50% Rent Discount
• Property Staff Shared Renewal Commissions
• Morgan Essentials: $300 quarterly
• On-Call Appreciation: $15/day for holding the on-call phone

Hours & Schedule

• Monday - Friday
