Tarantino Properties, Inc. is seeking Maintenance Assistants in Grand Prairie, TX and Arlington, TX. This role offers hands-on experience on a residential maintenance team and opportunities to grow skills in HVAC, plumbing, and make-ready tasks.

The ideal candidate will be dependable, proactive, and able to handle a variety of maintenance tasks to keep the property running smoothly. EPA HVAC and pool certifications are preferred where applicable.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of HVAC systems, furnaces, and plumbing
• Experience with apartment maintenance, make-ready processes, and work order systems
• EPA HVAC certification preferred
• Pool certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance work orders in a timely and professional manner
• Perform apartment make-ready tasks, including repairs and unit preparation
• Diagnose and repair basic HVAC systems, furnaces, and air conditioning units
• Identify and fix plumbing issues such as leaks and minor pipe repairs
• Maintain pool equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards
• Assist with general property upkeep, including preventative maintenance
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests as part of an on-call rotation
• This position is ideal for someone who is dependable, proactive, and capable of handling a variety of maintenance tasks to keep the property running smoothly.
