Meridian Senior Living in Woodmere, NY is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to support the Maintenance Director in keeping the community safe, attractive and well maintained within budget. This full-time role requires hands-on building upkeep and responsive problem-solving across common areas.

You will collaborate with staff, residents and vendors, reporting clearly, maintaining documentation, and ensuring reliable service to our senior residents who deserve a great life.

Qualifikationen

• 1+ years relevant work experience preferred.
• Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
• Must have basic reporting and organizational skills.
• Must be capable of maintaining full-time attendance.
• Must communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors, and the public.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must meet health requirements and pass background checks.

Details about the Maintenance Assistant position we are hiring for:

As the Maintenance Assistant, you will be responsible in assisting the Maintenance Director in ensuring that the Community is safe for residents and staff, attractive and well maintained, and operating within the Community maintenance budget.
