Job summary

Meridian Senior Living in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to support the Maintenance Director in keeping the community safe, attractive, and well maintained while staying within the maintenance budget.

You will communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors, and the public, handle basic reporting, and ensure attendance and health requirements are met for all shift coverage. The role emphasizes compassion for residents and reliable, professional service.

Qualifications

• 1+ years relevant work experience preferred.
• Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
• Basic reporting and organizational skills.
• Full-time attendance required.
• Effective communication with residents, families, staff, vendors, and the public.
• Valid driver license required.
• Must meet health requirements and pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Assist Maintenance Director to keep community safe, attractive, and well maintained.
• Operate within Community maintenance budget.
• Ensure compliance with safety and health standards.
