Job summary

Meridian Senior Living in Charlotte is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to support the Maintenance Director in keeping the community safe, attractive, and within budget. This full-time role requires basic reporting and strong communication with residents, families, staff, and vendors.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of relevant experience, a compassionate outlook toward the elderly, a valid driver license, and the stamina to maintain consistent attendance, plus the ability to pass health

Qualifications

• 1+ years relevant work experience (preferred).
• Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
• Basic reporting and organizational skills.
• Capable of maintaining full-time attendance.
• Effective communication with residents, families, staff, vendors and the public.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must meet health requirements and pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Maintenance Director in ensuring the Community is safe for residents and staff, attractive, well maintained, and within the maintenance budget.

Details about the Maintenance Assistant position we are hiring for:

As the Maintenance Assistant, you will be responsible in assisting the Maintenance Director in ensuring that the Community is safe for residents and staff, attractive and well maintained, and operating within the Community maintenance budget.
