Meridian Senior Living is seeking a Maintenance Assistant for Cypress Place in Ventura, CA. You will support the Maintenance Director to keep the community safe, clean, and well maintained, while helping ensure adherence to the community budget.

The role requires 1+ year of relevant experience, a compassionate approach to seniors, good reporting and organizational skills, and a valid driver's license. Strong communication with residents, families, staff and vendors is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance or property services.
• Experience with elderly care is preferred.
• Ability to work with residents, families and staff.

Details about the Maintenance Assistant position we are hiring for:

As the Maintenance Assistant, you will be responsible in assisting the Maintenance Director in ensuring that the Community is safe for residents and staff, attractive and well maintained, and operating within the Community maintenance budget.

Qualifications: Requirements:

• Relevant work experience (1+ years preferred)
• Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly
• Must have basic reporting and organizational skills
• Must be capable of maintaining fulltime attendance
• Must be able to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors and the general public
• Must have valid driver license
• Must meet all health requirements and pass background checks
