Job summary

Bridle Brook Assisted Living and Memory Care Community is seeking a Maintenance Assistant for a part-time opportunity. You will maintain the facility to ensure a clean, safe, and compliant environment for residents, handling electrical, plumbing, ventilation, and heating/cooling systems as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, or equivalent, preferred.
• Prior maintenance experience in LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting highly preferred.
• Must possess knowledge of commercial laundry, housekeeping, and maintenance procedures.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform activities of the maintenance department to ensure environmental compliance with federal, state and local codes.
• Assist in maintaining the facility to be sanitary, attractive, and in good repair with hazards avoided in electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.

What Will You Do in This Role?

As a Maintenance Assistant, you will perform the activities of the maintenance department to ensure environmental compliance in accordance with Federal, State and Local ordinance, regulations and building codes. You will assist in the maintenance of the facility to ensure a sanitary, attractive, and orderly condition; in good repair, free from hazards such as those caused by electrical, plumbing, ventilation, heating, and cooling systems.

Do You Have What It Takes?

• A fire and passion for working with seniors
• A flexible, fun, and energetic personality
• High school diploma, or equivalent, preferred
• Prior experience in maintenance in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting highly preferred
• Prior maintenance experience required
• Must possess knowledge of commercial laundry, housekeeping, and maintenance procedures
• Professional image in both appearance and behavior
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
