Job summary

Crystal Pines Rehabilitation and Health Care Center is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to join our team. You will support the maintenance department to keep the facility safe and well-maintained for residents, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards.

We value a flexible, energetic personality and a commitment to resident well-being. Prior LTC/SNF/AL/MC maintenance experience is preferred, with a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Must possess knowledge of commercial laundry, housekeeping, and maintenance procedures.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Flexibility, energy and a passion for working with seniors.
• Prior maintenance experience in LTC/SNF/AL/MC settings is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform the activities of the maintenance department to ensure environmental compliance with codes and regulations.
• Maintain the facility to be sanitary, attractive, and in good repair, free from hazards.
• Support in electrical, plumbing, ventilation, heating, and cooling system maintenance.

PAINTERS: 6-month temporary role. Full-Time hours during duration of the program.

What Will You Do in This Role?

As a Maintenance Assistant, you will perform the activities of the maintenance department to ensure environmental compliance in accordance with Federal, State and Local ordinance, regulations and building codes. You will assist in the maintenance of the facility to ensure a sanitary, attractive, and orderly condition; in good repair, free from hazards such as those caused by electrical, plumbing, ventilation, heating, and cooling systems.

Do You Have What It Takes?

• A fire and passion for working with seniors
• A flexible, fun, and energetic personality
• High school diploma, or equivalent, preferred
• Prior experience in maintenance in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting highly preferred
• Prior maintenance experience required
• Must possess knowledge of commercial laundry, housekeeping, and maintenance procedures
• Professional image in both appearance and behavior
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
