Job summary

Tutera Senior Living & Health Care is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to support the maintenance department and ensure a clean, safe environment for residents. You will help with electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems and general facility upkeep in a senior care setting.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and prior LTC/SNF/AL/MC maintenance experience. Join a team dedicated to quality care and ongoing staff development through Tutera University.

Qualifications

• Must possess knowledge of commercial laundry, housekeeping, and maintenance procedures.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Prior maintenance experience in LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance department activities to ensure environmental compliance with regulations and codes.
• Assist in maintaining the facility to be sanitary, attractive and orderly, in good repair.
• Identify and address hazards related to electrical, plumbing, ventilation, heating and cooling systems.
