Job summary

Tarantino Properties is seeking a Maintenance Technician to handle building upkeep and routine work orders. You will perform apartment make-ready tasks, basic HVAC and plumbing repairs, pool equipment maintenance, and on-call emergency responses.

The ideal candidate is dependable, proactive, and capable of managing a variety of maintenance tasks to keep the property running smoothly. HVAC certification is required; pool certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and carry at least 20 lbs.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC systems, furnaces, and plumbing.
• Experience with apartment maintenance, make-ready processes, and work order systems.
• Willingness to work on-call as needed (rotating schedule).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance work orders in a timely and professional manner
• Perform apartment make-ready tasks, including repairs and unit preparation
• Diagnose and repair basic HVAC systems, furnaces, and air conditioning units
• Identify and fix plumbing issues such as leaks and minor pipe repairs
• Maintain pool equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards
• Assist with general property upkeep, including preventative maintenance
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests as part of an on-call rotation
