Job summary

Algarita Lakeside Apartments is seeking a Maintenance Tech to ensure the upkeep of the building and grounds through routine maintenance and completion of work orders. Responsibilities include completing work orders, apartment make-ready tasks, diagnosing basic HVAC and plumbing issues, maintaining pool equipment, and being available for on-call emergencies.

Candidates should have basic HVAC and plumbing knowledge; EPA certification and pool certification are a plus; reliable and proactive team

Qualifications

• Experience in apartment maintenance or property upkeep.
• EPA HVAC certification preferred.
• Pool certification preferred.
• Ability to perform make-ready tasks and respond to work orders.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance work orders promptly.
• Perform apartment make-ready tasks and unit prep.
• Diagnose and repair basic HVAC systems, furnaces, and AC units.
• Identify and fix plumbing issues.
• Maintain pool equipment and safety standards.
• Assist with general property upkeep and preventative maintenance.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests on on-call rotation.
• Be dependable and proactive with diverse maintenance tasks.

Job description

Algarita Lakeside Apartments is currently seeking a Maintenance Tech to ensure the maintenance and upkeep of the building and grounds through routine procedures and special work orders.

Responsibilities:

• Complete maintenance work orders in a timely and professional manner
• Perform apartment make-ready tasks, including repairs and unit preparation
• Diagnose and repair basic HVAC systems, furnaces, and air conditioning units
• Identify and fix plumbing issues such as leaks and minor pipe repairs
• Maintain pool equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards
• Assist with general property upkeep, including preventative maintenance
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests as part of an on-call rotation
• This position is ideal for someone who is dependable, proactive, and capable of handling a variety of maintenance tasks to keep the property running smoothly.

Requirements

• HVAC (EPA) certification preferred
• Pool certification preferred
• Basic knowledge of HVAC systems, furnaces, and plumbing
• Experience with apartment maintenance, make-ready processes, and work order systems
