You will perform HVAC and plumbing repairs, make-ready tasks for apartments, respond to on-call requests, and contribute to safe, clean, and welcoming living spaces for residents. The role requires physical activity, ability to work in various weather, and dependable transportation.

Qualifications

• HVAC basic knowledge for repairs and troubleshooting.
• Experience with apartment maintenance and make-ready processes.
• On-call availability for rotating shifts.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance work orders in a timely and professional manner.

Tarantino Properties is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the maintenance and upkeep of the building and grounds through routine procedures and special work orders.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance work orders in a timely and professional manner


• Perform apartment make-ready tasks, including repairs and unit preparation


• Diagnose and repair basic HVAC systems, furnaces, and air conditioning units


• Identify and fix plumbing issues such as leaks and minor pipe repairs


• Maintain pool equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards


• Assist with general property upkeep, including preventative maintenance


• Respond to emergency maintenance requests as part of an on-call rotation


• This position is ideal for someone who is dependable, proactive, and capable of handling a variety of maintenance tasks to keep the property running smoothly.

Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry at least 20 lbs. or more


• HVAC (A/C) certification required


• Pool certification preferred


• Basic knowledge of HVAC systems, furnaces, and plumbing


• Experience with apartment maintenance, make-ready processes, and work order systems


• Willingness to work on-call as needed (rotating schedule)


• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail


• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license preferred


• Indoor and outdoor work in various weather conditions


• Physically active role requiring standing, bending, lifting, and walking


• Full-time with rotating on-call responsibilities
