Job summary

Kyndryl in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an experienced mainframe professional to support z/OS environments, batch processing, and modernization initiatives. You will contribute to automation efforts and work with a diverse team to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.

Ideal candidates have 5–8+ years of mainframe experience, hands-on JCL, DFSORT/Syncsort, and familiarity with IBM utilities. Collaboration with multiple stakeholders will be essential to success in this role.

Qualifications

5-8+ years of mainframe experience.
3+ years focused on utilities development / batch processing.
Hands-on experience with IBM z/OS environment.
Experience with JCL and batch processing.
Knowledge of IBM/ISV utilities: DFSORT, Syncsort, IDCAMS, IBM batch tools.
Experience with REXX, COBOL, Python/Java/SQL.
Familiarity with z/OS Connect, Jenkins, Ansible, IDZ/ Eclipse.

Responsibilities

Vendor software Tool Administrator for BMC DevX Code Pipeline/ISPW, BMC Topaz Workbench, IBM IDz v17.*, CA-JCLCHECK.
Demonstrate technical expertise and lead resolution of complex problems.
Develop technical solutions and automation of processes; lead small teams.
Utilize and extend IBM and ISV utilities for data processing and batch operations.
