Job summary

Kyndryl is seeking a high‑caliber Mainframe Specialist in Phoenix, AZ for a partially remote, full‑time role. You will administer vendor tools, demonstrate deep technical expertise, and lead resolution efforts for complex batch processing environments.

Qualifications

5–8+ years of mainframe experience.
3+ years focused on utilities development / batch processing.
Strong experience with IBM z/OS environment.
Hands‑on expertise in JCL and batch processing.
Experience with DFSORT / Syncsort and IDCAMS.
Experience with ETL batch processes and data processing utilities.

Responsibilities

Vendor software Tool Administrator for: BMC DevX Code Pipeline/ISPW, BMC Topaz Workbench, IBM IDz v17.* , CA-JCLCHECK.
Demonstrate technical expertise and knowledge.
Lead resolution processes for complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors.
Develop technical solutions, automation of processes and lead individual or small team initiatives.
Utilize and extend standard IBM and ISV utilities such as DFSORT / Syncsort, IDCAMS, IEBGENER / IEBCOPY / SORT.
