Job summary

Kyndryl is seeking an experienced Mainframe z/OS SME to provide technical leadership across z/OS environments. You will handle installation, configuration, performance tuning, capacity planning, automation, disaster recovery, migrations, and upgrades.

You will troubleshoot complex system issues, drive infrastructure improvements, and collaborate with global technical teams to ensure system availability and reliability.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Mainframe z/OS system programming and administration.
• Strong hands-on experience in IBM z/OS environments.
• Experience with z/OS upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure changes.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex z/OS issues with global teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert-level technical support for IBM z/OS environments.
• Perform z/OS system installation, configuration, maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
• Manage and support system software, subsystems, and related mainframe infrastructure.
• Analyze complex system issues and provide root-cause analysis and permanent solutions.
