Job summary

JPMorganChase seeks a Technology Support Lead to guide a global Mainframe and Mid-Range Compute Site Reliability and Engineering team. You will drive end-to-end service delivery, ensure 24x7 operational stability, and lead incident, problem, and change management across a large-scale environment.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, foster AI-assisted incident triage with human validation, and champion secure, auditable operations while mentoring technologists worldwide.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on technology support concepts.
• 8+ years of experience operating and managing IBM z-Series environments.
• Demonstrated leadership of operational and site reliability engineering teams in a 24x7 support environment, including people management.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure architecture including servers, storage, network, database, and application components.
• Extensive knowledge of replication technologies such as IBM CSM and GDPS.
• Expertise in administering z-Series and Hardware Management Console (HMC), including firmware upgrades.
• Security standards including SSH, IMS, CICS, DB2, and WebSphere.
• Experience managing ServiceNow for incident, problem, and change management across a global 24x7 environment.
• Ability to troubleshoot priority incidents and drive blameless postmortems.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams delivering end-to-end infrastructure service for critical business operations.
• Ensure operational stability and 24x7 availability through defined policies and procedures.
• Monitor production environments and drive observability tool usage.
• Escalate issues and guide resolution with stakeholders from incident to service restoration.
• Lead incident, problem, and change management for full-stack systems.
• Host bridge calls and communicate with large groups across the organization.
• Administer and troubleshoot Mainframe components for continuous health.
• Lead adoption of enterprise AI capabilities to improve triage speed with validation.
