Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Lead Infrastructure Engineer to join the Mainframe and Mid-Range Compute SRE team. You will apply deep z/Series knowledge and modern engineering practices to ensure stability, security and operational excellence across critical platforms.

You will collaborate with stakeholders globally, own incident resolution, and drive automation and AI-assisted practices to improve design documentation and resiliency.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
• 5+ years operating and managing IBM z-Series environments.
• Experience leading Operational and SRE teams in 24x7 support environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams delivering end-to-end infrastructure service for business operations.
• Enforce policies to ensure stability and availability.
• Monitor production environments and drive observability tool usage.
• Escalate issues and guide incident resolution to service restoration.
• Lead incident, problem, and change management for full stack systems.
