Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Technology Support III in Columbus to strengthen our Mainframe and Mid-Range Compute Site Reliability and Engineering team. You will support end-to-end delivery, ensure 24x7 stability, and collaborate across stakeholders to drive improvements.

The role emphasizes AI-assisted incident triage, security-conscious operations, and cross-team coordination while advancing your expertise in z-Series and related tooling.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on technology support concepts and 3+ years applied experience.
• Experience working in IBM z-Series environments and related tooling.
• Understanding of infra components including servers, storage, network, DB2, CICS, WebSphere.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end application and infrastructure service delivery for business operations.
• Maintain stability and availability across a 24x7 production environment.
• Monitor production environments for anomalies and use observability tools.
• Communicate issues and solutions to stakeholders through incident resolution.
• Participate in incident, problem and change management for full-stack systems.
• Bridge calls and collaborate across organizational levels.
• Administer and troubleshoot Mainframe components; manage health and performance.
• Leverage AI capabilities to speed incident triage and trend analysis with proper validation.
• Apply reuse-first AI practices to identify recurring issues and drive remediation.
