Job summary

ViziRecruiter, LLC in Islip, NY is seeking a detail-oriented mailroom clerk to open, sort, and distribute mail, and to assist with packing and shipping using UPS and FedEx systems.

You will maintain vendor communications, scan and index documents, and keep logs in Excel while using Tracker and PVLS hardware. This role requires strong written and verbal communication, good computer literacy, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a professional office environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong computer literacy skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and stay organized.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pack and prepare documents for shipping with materials provided by various vendors.
• Maintain open lines of vendor communication.
• Ship materials using UPS and FedEx software systems.
• Scan, index, upload paperwork documentation.
• Utilize proprietary hardware and software including Tracker & PVLS.
• Maintain logs in Excel and print label using MS Office.
• Understand and meet expectations of Production, Support and Management Team(s).
• Follows all company and department policies and procedures.
• Keep lines of communication open between vendors.
• Punctual and regular attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
