Job summary

Vomela Commercial Group is seeking a Mail Department Operator to manage outgoing mail, ensure accurate sorting, timely distribution and proper documentation. This onsite Springfield, VA role operates 1:00-9:00pm and pays $21–$27.50 USD per hour.

You will read paper and electronic job orders, process per specifications, coordinate mailroom equipment, and maintain records. Prior mailing inserter machiness experience is required; strong organization and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience running mailing inserter machines is required.
• Experience in an administrative role is an advantage.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

• Operate processes for outgoing mail from our facility
• Read and understand paper and electronic job orders and process jobs according to specifications
• Be accountable for quality, on time work
• Run and coordinate work in the operation of all mailroom equipment
• Maintains mail machinery in working order, clearing jams in equipment and operating computers
• Maintain an accurate record of all mail processed and distributed
• Other duties as assigned
