Job summary

Horace Mann in Springfield, Illinois seeks a dependable Mail/Copy Center Specialist to support high-volume mail, print, and document production operations. You will ensure timely, accurate processing of mailings, print requests, and shipping while maintaining quality and cost efficiency.

You will collaborate with internal business partners, manage postage and metering, and operate copy center equipment including printers, cutters, folders, inserters, and postage meters.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to create and maintain reports using Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to match records, transfer information accurately, and maintain document integrity.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds at waist level and overhead.

Responsibilities

• Consult with business units to identify efficient, cost-effective mailings, printing projects, and postage processing.
• Receive and fulfill Marketing Portal orders, including printing, packaging, and shipping materials using FedEx services.
• Process Contact Center and Underwriting requests by printing, assembling, metering, and mailing required documents.
• Process electronic Add Car requests, meter mail, and prepare items for pre-sort mailing services.
• Ensure all mail and print requests are completed accurately and within service standards.
