Job summary

Weltman in Troy, MI seeks a Mail Legal Specialist to open and review incoming mailed documents and enter data to update client accounts. The role requires accurate data entry and basic knowledge of the legal process.

Responsibilities include scanning and tracking mail, filing, photocopying, and supporting other clerical tasks. A GED or high school diploma, plus 6 months of admin/customer service experience and MS Office skills are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 6 months of administrative, customer service, or retail experience.
• Typing speed of at least 35 words per minute for accurate data entry.
• Proficiency with basic computer operation and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Open and review incoming mailed documents and update client/consumer accounts.
• Enter data regarding court documents, starting with basic entry and advancing with standard procedures.
• Route or file documents after entry to internal departments as requested.
• Track and log incoming mail, including scanning bar codes and processing checks.
