University of Nebraska-Lincoln is seeking a Quick Service Team Member for Abel Dining Center. This full-time role delivers fast, friendly service in a made-to-order concept using mobile ordering. You will perform prep, assembly, and kitchen duties while maintaining quality and safety standards.

The position may include weekend or evening shifts and offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities within UNL's Dining Services.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent required; consideration for experience.
• Ability to read, write, weigh and measure as part of daily tasks.
• Ability to communicate clearly in a team setting and with customers.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull up to 100 lbs.
• Food Handler’s permit or ability to obtain by testing.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced dining setting.
• Perform back-of-house duties: ingredient prep, inventory, cooking, and assembling orders.
• Build orders following established recipes and procedures.
• Monitor food quality, presentation, and waste control.
• Assist in other areas as needed and perform additional duties.
