You apply strong machining fundamentals, interpret G and M code, and perform thorough quality checks, including first-piece inspections, to ensure parts meet precise specifications in a high-volume production environment.

The operation produces components that feed into multiple business units, making it a critical part of a larger, well‑established industrial organization. The components group operates with a high degree of autonomy, with teams working together to prioritize and divide work to meet delivery dates and, in some areas, manage their own material and tooling orders. The shop primarily uses bar feed machines, Swiss lathes, and rotary mills to support high‑volume, intricate machining. Multiple shifts are available, including 3rd shift roles with a shift premium and a dedicated weekend shift, and employees coordinate across shifts to ensure smooth handoffs and consistent production flow. Dress is typical for a precision machining environment, with appropriate safety and shop attire required on the production floor.
This is a Permanent position based out of Appleton, WI.
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $35.00/hr.
