Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a dedicated technician to assist in moving and placing equipment at a Panasonic manufacturing facility in De Soto, KS. The role involves unloading, uncrating, and positioning heavy machinery on the production floor, requiring physical stamina and attention to detail.

This contract-to-hire position offers onsite work with comprehensive benefits and overtime opportunities. OSHA 10 certification is encouraged, and prior lifting/operation experience is a plus to support a

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in construction or physical labor.
• Must have or be willing to obtain OSHA 10 certification.
• Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physical tasks.
• Experience operating forklifts, gradalls, or other lifts is a plus.
• Ability to walk 10+ miles per day.
• Ability to bend, crawl, and move throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Unload, load, and unstuff cargoes from trailers or shipping containers.
• Uncrate, crate, unpack, pack, and move cargoes using manual or powered hand tools and material handling equipment.
• Relocate and rough set cargoes to designated locations on the production floor using manual or powered hand tools, manual toe jacks, and material handling equipment such as manual skates, dollies, pallet jacks, and forklifts.
• Previous experience in a labor-intensive role.
• Must have or be willing to obtain an OSHA 10 certification.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical labor tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
