Job summary

MULTIVAC USA in Kansas City, MO seeks a Disassembly Technician to safely dismantle, clean, inspect, and prepare industrial packaging equipment for refurbishment or recycling. You will identify reusable parts, separate scrap, and document conditions for production teams.

Normal hours are 7:30am–4:00pm with occasional overtime and possible travel. Must have high school diploma and at least one year in mechanical/manufacturing roles; forklift cert preferred, SAP and MS Office experience beneficial.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and one year of mechanical, manufacturing, maintenance, equipment repair, assembly, disassembly, or industrial experience.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble machines, assemblies, and components per procedures.
• Remove components to preserve reusable parts and minimize damage.
• Evaluate components for reuse, repair, refurbishment, or recycling.
• Clean machines, assemblies, and parts using approved methods and tools.
• Prepare equipment for inspection, refurbishment or downstream operations.
• Perform visual inspections for wear, damage, or corrosion.
