Job summary

Panasonic Energy is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician I to maintain production equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and support TPM initiatives at our De Soto, Kansas facility. This multi-craft role collaborates with the Operations team to ensure machines run reliably.

The position offers $29.50 per hour, with B- and D-Shift options, and a comprehensive benefits package with relocation support. Onsite interviews are required during the process.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of maintenance technician experience.
• Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
• Basic mathematical skills for standard calculations.
• Ability to pass Ramsay testing assessment.
• Ability to quickly learn production processes.
• Team-oriented with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain production equipment through preventive maintenance and basic repairs.
• Perform routine maintenance according to documented requirements.
• Check settings, gauges, HMI, and sensors to keep machines within specs.
• Inspect belts, chains, and replace parts as needed.
• Assist in TPM initiatives and coordinate with Operations.
