Job summary

Oshkosh Corporation, a leader in access equipment, is seeking an Offline Technician to inspect, test, troubleshoot, and repair equipment at the Kansas City facility prior to shipment; you will solve problems with minimal supervision and ensure configurations align with sales orders.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, 1+ year of relevant experience, and ability to drive and inspect all machines; expect overtime in a dynamic production environment with emphasis on safety and 6S

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1+ year of relevant experience.
• Ability to drive, test, and conduct offline inspection on all machines.
• Ability to travel up to 5%.

Responsibilities

• Test and inspect all facility Access equipment; troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical components.
• Assist in driving back defects to the origin and implement corrective actions.
• Work across stations, train new team members, and utilize EQC, MDS, JED, AS400.
• Maintain a safe, clean 6S-compliant work environment and assist in product testing.
