Job summary

Hawthorne Cat is seeking a Machinery Service Tech 1 (Rentals) to inspect, diagnose, and repair Caterpillar and allied equipment in a shop or field setting. You will perform disassembly, reassembly, and testing, recording results and time spent.

The role requires safety adherence and strong teamwork. Applicants should have a high school diploma, 2–5 years of repair experience, and relevant certifications or apprenticeships.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and diagnose issues on Caterpillar and allied equipment.
• Remove/install parts, disassemble/assemble components, test and adjust with minimal supervision.
• Write service reports documenting diagnosis and repairs daily.
