Job summary

Gosiger in the South Bay Area, CA seeks a driven sales professional to expand machine tool sales and value-added services. You will develop customer relations, manage accounts, and drive revenue through strategic prospecting, demonstrations, and solutions that meet client needs.

The role emphasizes quota attainment, collaboration with internal teams, and travel to customer sites or supplier locations. Base+commission structure is highlighted with career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years in consultative sales in the Machine Tool Industry.
• Strong mechanical/technical aptitude.
• Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
• Superior interpersonal communication and customer relationship building.
• Demonstrated experience in project management and time management.
• Demonstrated application of basic computer skills.
• Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a valid passport for out-of-the country travel.
• Must be able to drive and have a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Must be able to obtain a personal credit card for business expense.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains knowledge of Machine Tool industry and products; stays ahead of competitors.
• Prospecting and territory management.
• Phone prospecting of new potential customers; travel/office time.
• Identify customer needs and match Gosiger solutions.
• Meet annual quota with margins and profit; maintain market share.
• Manage projects through installation and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support customers.
