Job summary

KAAST Machine Tools is seeking an Inside Sales Representative in the Seattle area. The role focuses on selling machine tools to new and existing customers, handling warm leads, and quoting equipment. Initial work-from-home setup precedes an in-office transition once the Seattle warehouse opens.

Candidates should have 2+ years in capital equipment or machine tool sales, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently. Travel is limited and local candidates are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of sales experience.
• 2+ years of capital equipment and/or machine tool sales experience.
• Manufacturing, metal fabrication, or production industry knowledge preferred.
• Comfortable communicating with customers over the phone and via email.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Microsoft Office and CRM experience.
• Ability to work independently from a home office during the initial startup phase.

Responsibilities

• Reach out to new clients, introduce KAAST's machinery lineup, and develop relationships.
• Work on warm leads and daily incoming leads.
• Analyze and review client applications, then prepare quotes and follow up promptly.
• Learn and understand KAAST’s machine tool and fabrication equipment offerings.
• Maintain accurate customer information within CRM systems.
• Support sales growth in the Los Angeles and Southern California market.
• Stay organized, self-motivated, and proactive in daily sales activity.
