KAAST Machine Tools is a rapidly growing international machine tool distributor specializing in high-quality CNC and conventional metalworking equipment. Our product lineup includes mills, lathes, saws, grinders, press brakes, shears, plate rolls, angle rolls, lasers, and more. With established warehouse locations in Philadelphia, PA and Chicago, IL, KAAST is expanding operations with a new Seattle area facility opening soon. To support this growth, we are hiring an Inside Sales Representative based in the Seattle area.
This position will initially operate from a home office while we complete the launch of our Los Angeles warehouse and office location. Once the facility is operational, this role will transition to an in-office position based out of the new Seattle location. Candidates must currently reside within commuting distance of Seattle, WA.
The ideal candidate is energetic, personable, self-motivated, and comfortable building relationships over the phone and in person. This role focuses primarily on inside sales, including working warm leads, handling incoming inquiries, quoting machinery, and helping customers identify the best equipment for their applications. Travel is limited to about 10% and consists of 2-3 trade shows per year.
Inside Sales Reps are responsible for pushing our machine tool equipment primarily in the Seattle area. The best person for this job is high-energy, personable, and well-spoken. This person should be familiar with the fields of manufacturing and/or production.
