Basaran Grinder Corporation seeks a senior builder to own the mechanical build of a complete CNC grinding machine from base prep through power-up and runoff support. The senior builder plans the work, solves difficult fit and alignment problems, and mentors developing assemblers.

You will lead the full assembly process with a focus on precise geometry and reliable motion, ensuring readiness for production and ongoing quality improvements in a demanding manufacturing environment.

Formación

• Extensive precision machine-tool or complex industrial-equipment building experience.
• Advanced alignment, metrology, mechanical troubleshooting, bearing, sealing, and fluid-system capability.
• Ability to take a full machine from loose parts through mechanical acceptance.
• Ability to identify risk early and make practical recommendations to engineering and supervision.
• Ability to mentor others and maintain high workmanship and safetystandards

Responsabilidades

• Plan and execute the complete mechanical build sequence for assigned machines
• Perform critical alignment, spindle, axis, dresser, fixture, enclosure, and fluid-system work
• Verify machine geometry, smooth motion, sealing, routing, service access, and mechanical readiness for power-up
• Lead root-cause work for alignment, vibration, leakage, fit, contamination, and reliability problems
• Coordinate priorities and corrections with manufacturing supervision, engineering, electrical, software, and applications
• Train Levels 1 through 3 and improve assembly instructions, checklists, tooling, and standard work

Position Summary

Key Responsibilities

Preferred Experience ( 15+ years)

• Factory acceptance, installation, rigging, or customer-site experience
• Basic electrical, servo, PLC, or machine-controls troubleshootingexperience

What Success Looks Like

Completes full machines with strong geometry andworkmanship, prevents downstream rework, and makes the assembly team morecapable.

• Full-time position based primarily on-site in Hauppauge, New York
• Typical company schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00p.m.; specific hours depend on the role
