Job summary

Airtronics Inc., an Aerospace and Aviation company, is seeking a Machine Shop Planner/Buyer to develop and maintain production schedules, manage work orders, review BOMs, and ensure on-time delivery. You will coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to optimize material flow, monitor capacity constraints, and respond to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

This role requires 3+ years in manufacturing planning, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with ERP systems.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing planning or production scheduling.
• Proficiency in MRP/ERP systems.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on process optimization.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demand.
• Manage the flow of work orders from start to finish.
• Review BOMs for accuracy.
• Manage material requirements, planning to ensure material arrives on time to make required customer delivery dates.
• Monitor and adjust production plans based on changing priorities and capacity constraints.
• Interact with customers on status and purchase order updates.
• Plans and purchases to meet requirements for production.
• Order materials and place purchase orders.
• Negotiates and monitors standard purchase orders to achieve negotiated savings and requirements.
• Assure on-time delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless workflow and communication.
