Job summary

Airtronics Inc., an Aerospace and Aviation company, is seeking a Machine Shop Planner/Buyer to develop and maintain production schedules, manage work orders, review BOMs, and ensure on-time delivery. You will coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to optimize material flow, monitor capacity constraints, and respond to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

This role requires 3+ years in manufacturing planning, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with ERP systems.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in manufacturing planning or production scheduling.
Proficiency in MRP/ERP systems.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Detail-oriented with a focus on process optimization.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demand.
Manage the flow of work orders from start to finish.
Review BOMs for accuracy.
Manage material requirements, planning to ensure material arrives on time to make required customer delivery dates.
Monitor and adjust production plans based on changing priorities and capacity constraints.
Interact with customers on status and purchase order updates.
Plans and purchases to meet requirements for production.
Order materials and place purchase orders.
Negotiates and monitors standard purchase orders to achieve negotiated savings and requirements.
Assure on-time delivery.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless workflow and communication.
